Kashii-gu 香椎宮 Fukuoka (福岡市) July 26, 2025 (Reiwa 7) About Kashii-gu Kashii-gu is the shrine that enshrines Emperor Chuai (14th emperor of Japan) and Empress Jingu. It was originally built by Emperess Jingu after Emperor Chuai was killed during his journey west. She got revenge for his death and ruled as regent until her son became took the throne.
